SOLFEGE

SOLFEGE

Formed in 1995 in Fukuoka, Japan, Solfege’s only constant members were the guitarist Rais and drummer sia. The first line-up was complemented by Nao on vocals and Nozomi on bass. Three demotapes and the first mini-album, Lacunes d’air (1999), were released before Nozomi’s replacement by Sakura for only the release of the band’s 4th demotape; after so Sakura left.

During 2001, without a official bassist, 2 more releases followed. In the same year vocalist Nao was replaced by kairi. It was only in 2003 that a new bassist joined, Keshiko. In 2004 occured new changes in line-up: kairi left Solfege and Miyu joined. Solfege’s Hakoniwa no sepia was then released, the song being free for download on their website. Before their break-up in February, 2005, keshiko was replaced by Ageha on bass.

Solfege played an one night only revival early 2006 with vocalist KAIRI  releasing the “revers de la memoire” CD.KAIRI and Rais went on to form BLANC CHAIN
